Prompt Engineering

What’s Your Most Useful AI Prompt?

Hey everyone!

I have been using AI tools for a few months now and I am still trying to figure out the best way to use them properly. One thing I keep reading about is prompt engineering but I honestly have no idea where to start.

So I wanted to ask here directly. What is the one AI prompt you use every single day that saves you the most time? It does not have to be anything fancy. Even a simple one that helps with rewriting, brainstorming, SEO, or research is fine.

I use ChatGPT daily but I feel like I am not getting the most out of it because my prompts are too basic. I know productivity can go way up with the right prompts but I just cannot figure out which ones are actually worth using regularly.

If you have a go-to prompt that genuinely helps your workflow, please drop it in the replies. Even if it feels too simple to share, please share it anyway. Someone like me will definitely find it useful.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the community..

I mostly use AI for research, and this prompt has been very useful:

"Summarize this article into key points and mention anything important that I shouldn't miss."

Instead of reading long articles from start to finish, I first ask AI for a summary. If the topic looks useful, then I read the full article. It saves a lot of time, especially when I’m researching multiple sources for a blog post. Of course, I still verify the information before publishing anything, but it definitely speeds up my research process.

My favourite prompt for blogging is:

“Give me 10 unique blog title ideas with SEO focus for this topic.”

Whenever I get stuck thinking of a good headline (to be frank, these days I prefer AI for creating headline, blog title, and meta generation for all my articles), I use this prompt. It gives me plenty of ideas, and I usually combine two or three suggestions to create my final title. A good title makes a huge difference in attracting readers, so this prompt has become part of my daily workflow.

The prompt I use the most is:

“Rewrite this paragraph in a more natural and conversational tone without changing the meaning.”

Sometimes my writing sounds too formal, especially after editing it several times. So, I prefer using this prompt to make it easier to read while keeping my own ideas intact. but I don’t copy the AI output directly, I just seek AI assistance to ensure my work has a for better version before reaching my client/readers. Till now, my articles feel more engaging, so I think this prompt has made a positive difference to my work….

✋ Being a blogger, these days I use AI for maintaining my blog especially when it comes to creating a blog outline and optimizing the contents according to the current SEO standards.

So, for my daily blogging usage the prompt which i use is slightly longer because it gives more accurate results:

“Act as an experienced blogger and SEO expert. Create a detailed outline with headings, FAQs, and practical examples for this topic.”

I use this prompt for writing better blog post. This helps me to get a complete structure of the content i need type instead of staring at a blank page,. Apart form the outline, I still add my own opinions, examples, and experiences to make the article unique. For me, AI works best as a planning assistant rather than a content writer, and this single prompt has probably saved me several hours every week.
